Thank you for the use of the Mobi-Mat® for our beach bash for autistic children. The mats created an excellent hard surface walkway for our kids with mobility issues. It also allowed the kids to navigate the beach without walking in the hot sand. I received many compliments from our beach guests regarding the Mobi-Mat. The mats have now become a big part of our beach special events and daily beachfront operations.

The first Mobi-Mat® RecPathTM access in Brazil was deployed on the beaches of Rio de Janeiro by the NGO Adapt Surf Brazil with a project called Praia Acessivel (Accessible Beach) promoting enhanced surf accessibility and coastal preservation.
Mayor Cal Patterson and members of Wasaga Beach Town Council are pleased to announce the installation of ten 50 foot Mobi-Mat® RecPaths™ at Beach Areas 2 and 5 along the Wasaga Beach shoreline.
Mobility mats and beach pathways are solid surfaces installed on beaches. They are designed to enable people in wheelchairs or using walkers and baby strollers to get close to the water.
There are many mobi mats in the region, including Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, Clinch Park in Traverse City, Traverse City State Park, Whiting Park in Boyne City, and Petoskey State Park.

Mobi-Mat® RecPath™ technology makes it easier for disabled persons to access the parks that we all love without compromising the integrity of the structures or harming nature.
DMS, Inc. teamed up with Elizabeth Wintenberger from Robert Moses Captree State Parks to bring ADA accessibility to the 2-Day Air Show at Jones Beach, NY. The show attracted well over 400,000 visitors. “Our corporate Chalet visitors could not say enough about Mobi-Mat ®”, stated Ms. Wintenberger, who added that she will be following up on how to purchase Mobi-Mat® for future shows.
The Friends has helped the Park become more ADA compliant. Hunting Island Campground received this all terrain wheelchair donated by the Friends of Hunting Island. With the newly completed handicap-equipped restroom and the installed mobi-mat, handicapped visitors will be able to enjoy camping and the beauty of Hunting Island beaches.
